Rule one: how Super Ace decides you have won

Super Ace is a 5-reel, 4-row JILI slot with 1024 ways to win. There are no paylines to choose and no line-count to adjust, so the only thing you set is your stake. A win is counted when matching symbols appear on consecutive reels starting from the leftmost reel, regardless of which row they land on. Three matching symbols on reels one, two and three pay; the same three symbols on reels two, three and four do not, because the chain must begin on reel one. Every way is evaluated on every spin, which is why a single result can pay several combinations at once.

Rule two: golden cards, Jokers and the cascade

The part players ask about most is what happens after the first win, because Super Ace does not stop there. Winning symbols are removed and the symbols above them fall down to fill the gaps, with new symbols dropping in from the top. The game then checks the 1024 ways again. That loop is the cascade, and it is governed by four rules worth memorising:

• Golden cards are ordinary card symbols that land inside a gold frame. If a golden card forms part of a winning combination, it does not vanish with the rest. It converts into a Joker.
• A Joker is a wild. It substitutes for any regular symbol except the scatter, which is how it completes fresh combinations on the very next drop and keeps a chain alive.
• The cascade continues for as long as each drop produces at least one win. The instant a drop pays nothing, the spin is over and the total is credited.
• Scatters pay by count, not position. They are not part of the ways calculation and no wild can stand in for one.
• Every spin starts the sequence from scratch. Nothing carries over from the previous spin: not the multiplier, not the golden cards, not any notion of being due.

Rule three: the multiplier ladder and the free game

Each consecutive win inside one cascade chain moves a combo multiplier one rung up a fixed ladder, and that multiplier is applied to the win that triggered it. Three or more scatters open the free game, where the same ladder starts higher and climbs harder. This is the rule that explains Super Ace's biggest results: the 1,500× ceiling is reached by a long chain inside free spins, not by one enormous single drop. The ladder resets to the bottom as soon as a drop fails to pay.
